I'm in Los Angeles, CA for work and I can totally relate to the phrase "I love LA". I just saw my first cloud today and I have been here 4 days. I was glad to escape the record breaking temperatures back home in DC. The fruit and produce here in LA is so amazing. All the food is fresh and delicious. I have tried to eat avocados at every meal...and having some success doing so. My coworker Gregg and I escaped to Disneyland yesterday evening. We went to Downtown Disney! We shopped and ate our way through Mickey's downtown fun mecca.
Along the way we experienced a star sighting! What trip to LA would be complete with out one...? We saw Dorian Harewood. His most notable roles were in Roots, Full Metal Jacket and The Jesse Owens Story. Here is a link to his web site... http://www.dorianharewood.com/index.htm Oh! Also on my plane ride to LA Jack Kemp Jr. was on my flight. Here is some info. on him ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Kemp. As I recall he was a Republican vice presidential candidate back in the 90's. Even traveling to the "Left" coast one can still see Republicans! ;)
